Trial for KSM Will Not Be Held in Manhattan

It looks as if Obama has changed his mind on holding the trial for KSM and other terrorists in Manhattan. He didn't change his mind because he is finally coming to his senses, but because he is trying to appeal to his base, a lot of which want the trial moved.

From the articles:

The reversal on trying the accused Sept. 11 terrorists blocks from the former World Trade Center site seemed to come suddenly this week, after New York’s mayor, Michael R. Bloomberg, abandoned his strong support for the plan and said the cost and disruption would be too great.

Bloomberg’s remarks Wednesday set off a stampede of New York City officials, most of them Democrats well-disposed toward Obama, who suddenly declared that a civilian trial for the Sept. 11 suspects was a great idea - as long as it didn’t happen in their city.

I'm not sure where the trail will be moved to. Wherever it ends up, it is going to cost the host city millions of dollars in security.

Below are some trial sites that are being considered.

The decision to move the trial from NYC does not mean that Obama and Holder are considering not trying them as common criminals in a civilian court. They will try again in another city, and another, and another.

Texas Man Beheads His 2-Year-Old Niece

Jihad Watch reported that a Texas man beheads his 2-year-old niece and then killed four other family members. Can you guess what religion he is? Go ahead, I'll give you a minute.

Yup. Islam. Another beheading by a member of the Islamic "religion of peace."

From the Houston Cronicle:

BELLVILLE -- A family dispute pushed Maron Thomas to go on a rampage marked by a fury so intense that he decapitated his 2-year-old niece with a machete after killing her and four other family members, Austin County investigators said Wednesday.
Thomas, 20, was charged Wednesday with capital murder in the shooting deaths of his mother, stepfather, sister, brother and his niece. He remains in the Austin County Jail with bail set at $1 million.
"This is one of the most horrific crimes we've had in Austin County," District Attorney Travis Koehn said. "Austin County is a safe place to live, but unfortunately, we are not immune to the same kinds of crimes that occur in other locations." [...]
Thomas then allegedly burglarized a car and was arrested around 3 a.m. after being caught trying to break into a house a mile and a half away while he was naked, investigators said. A neighbor held him at gunpoint until deputies arrived and arrested him on burglary charges. When deputies arrived, he had put on a pair of exercise shorts. [...]
Killed were Thomas' biological mother, Debra Phearse Washington, 54; stepfather, George T. Washington, 69; sister, Kiana Shree Phearse, 25; brother, Cedric Thomas, 19; and niece, Khalilah Chambers-Massey, who was Kiana Phearse's daughter. Contrary to prior reports, Kiana Phearse was not pregnant, Austin County Sheriff's Sgt. Paul Faircloth said.
Thomas' sister, Ka'Tara Price, 24, of Houston, said she believes anger and Thomas' conversion to the Muslim religion influenced his actions. She said she is not aware of him suffering from any mental illness.
"It's anger and pure evilness," Price said Wednesday night. "He's always been a very angry person. If he thinks he's right, he's right."...

The New Testament alludes to Islam in the book of Revelation.

Revelation 20:4

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Crotch Bomber Outrage

It was reported that The Crotch Bomber, who tired to blow up an airliner on Christmas day, was interrogated for a total of 50 minutes! At which point he was read his Miranda Rights! So he did what every terrorist will do who is captured by the USA, he shut up. Then he was sent over to medical care!

This guy isn't even an presumed terrorist. He was caught in the act. He should be held at GITMO. He should be given 3 meals a day of non-halal food and kept from reading his Koran. He should be held in stress position , he should have his beard shaved (if he had one), he should be deprived of sleep and be forced to listen to heavy metal music as well as waterboarded. I'd bet that if they had waterboarded this guy he would only have had to been interrogated for 4 minutes.

Obama Only "Ate and S&*#" here.

Last year in Jakarta Indonesia a statue was erected of POTUS.

Now thanks to an online community there the authorities there are considering taking the statue down.

Here is some of the article:

Indonesian authorities said Monday they are considering a petition to tear down a statue of US President Barack Obama as a boy, only a month after the bronze was unveiled in Jakarta.
The statue of "Little Barry" -- as Obama was known when he lived in the capital in the late 1960s -- stands in central Jakarta's Menteng Park, a short walk from the US president's former elementary school.
Critics say the site should have been used to honour an Indonesian and 55,000 people have joined a page on social networking website Facebook calling for the statue to be removed.
Members of the "Take Down the Barack Obama Statue in Menteng Park" group on Facebook say Obama has done nothing for Indonesia.
"Barack Obama has yet to make a significant contribution to the Indonesian nation. We could say Obama only ate and s (expletive) in Menteng. He spent his subsequent days living as an American," the web page says.
"For the dignity of a sovereign nation, Barack Obama's monument in Menteng Park must be removed immediately."

Obama Brings His Teleprompter To An Elementary School

Remember this little piece of heaven by The Onion?

Obama's Home Teleprompter Malfunctions During Family Dinner

Well, it might not be too far off.
Pres. Obama recently (Jan. 19th) spoke to a 6th grade class at Graham Road Elementary School in Falls Church, Va. And wouldn't you know it he brought his teleprompter!
Come on! Why did the smartest president of the United States ever need to bring his ubiquitous teleprompter with him to answer media questions on his 6th grade visit? And especially after joke after joke has been made about his never giving a speech without it.
Unbelievable.

Obama Will Travel to Nevada for Reid Next Month

Every campaign Obama tries to help out on turns to crap.

Now he's headed to Nevada to curse Harry Reid's campaign to hold his Senate seat.

Taking recent history as our guide we can safely say, even bet, that Reid is... outta there!

Air America Radio closing, filing for bankruptcy

That's right...bankruptcy.

The reason: no one believes in the principles espoused by the hosts of the shows so no one listens to it. Despite Obama being elected to the highest office in the land, we are a center-right nation and people don't want to hear why we should change what America is.

You know the television news outlets are going to find themselves in the same position if they don't start doing some real reporting instead of push their agenda.

Now that left wing radio is off the airways, we're should start hearing new talks about the Fairness Doctrine.

Aid To Haiti

Themajlis.org has reported that muslim countries have given:

Bahrain: The government has donated $1 million to relief efforts.
Jordan: A Jordanian air force plane carrying a military field hospital and 6 tons of food and supplies left Amman on January 14. A second plane carrying Jordanian medics left the following day.
Iran: Iran's Red Crescent society sent 30 tons of humanitarian aid, including food, tents and medicine, on January 16.
Kuwait: Kuwait donated $1 million to relief efforts; the Red Crescent is preparing 100 tons of food, medical supplies, tents and blankets to fly to Haiti.
Lebanon: Lebanon is loading a plane with 25 tons of tents and 3 tons of medical supplies; it leaves tomorrow.
Morocco: Two planes carrying 24 tons of aid left the city of Kenitra on January 16. The Moroccan government has pledged $1 million in aid to Haiti.
Qatar: A Qatari C-17 aircraft loaded with 50 tons of aid left for Port-au-Prince on January 14. The Qatari government also sent a rescue team to set up a field hospital; the Red Crescent will sent another $100,000.
Turkey: Three cargo planes -- carrying search-and-rescue teams, a mobile hospital and aid materials -- left for Haiti on January 16. Another two planes left yesterday. Turkey has also donated $1 million in cash.
United Arab Emirates: The UAE sent two planes loaded with tents, and a team from the UAE's Red Crescent will arrive in the Dominican Republic tomorrow to buy $500,000 worth of supplies and truck them to Haiti. Another 50 tons of emergency supplies will be air-lifted from Abu Dhabi tomorrow.

Compare this to aid given by the USA which is half a billion dollars at last count.

It's not just the rich muslim countries that don't want to give up some cash. China has given a measly one million dollars.

That Old Obama Magic Is Back

Ann Coulter's Latest Column:

Once again, the people have spoken, and this time they quoted what Dick Cheney said to Pat Leahy.

Less than two weeks ago, The New York Times said that so much as a "tighter-than-expected" victory for Massachusetts Democratic Senate candidate Martha Coakley would incite "soul-searching among Democrats nationally," which sent Times readers scurrying to their dictionaries to look up this strange new word, "soul."

A close win for Coakley, the Times said, would constitute "the first real barometer of whether problems facing the party" will affect the 2010 elections.

But when Coakley actually lost the election by an astounding 5 points, the Chicago boys in the White House decided it was the chick's fault.

Democratic candidate Martha Coakley may be a moral monster, but it's ridiculous to blame her for losing the election. She lost because of the Democrats' obsession with forcing national health care down the nation's throat.

Coakley campaigned exactly the way she should have.

As a Democrat running in a special election for a seat that had been held by a Democratic icon (and another moral monster) for the past 46 years in a state with only 12 percent registered Republicans, Coakley's objective was to have voters reading the paper on Friday, saying: "Hey, honey, did you know there was a special election four days ago? Yeah, apparently Coakley won, though it was a pretty low turnout."

Ideally, no one except members of government unions and Coakley's immediate family would have even been aware of the election.

And until Matt Drudge began covering it like a presidential election a week ago, it might have turned out that way.

Coakley had already won two statewide elections, while her Republican opponent, Scott Brown, had only won elections in his district. She had endorsements from the Kennedy family and the current appointed Democratic senator, Paul Kirk -- as well as endless glowing profiles in The Boston Globe.

And by the way, as of Jan. 1, Brown had spent $642,000 on the race, while Coakley had spent $2 million.

On Jan. 8, just 11 days before the election, The New York Times reported: "A Brown win remains improbable, given that Democrats outnumber Republicans by 3 to 1 in the state and that Ms. Coakley, the state's attorney general, has far more name recognition, money and organizational support."

It was in that article that the Times said a narrow Coakley win would be an augury for the entire Democratic Party. But now she's being hung out to dry so that Democrats don't have to face the possibility that Obama's left-wing policies are to blame.

Alternatively, Democrats are trying to write off Brown's colossal victory as the standard seesawing of public sentiment that hits both Republicans and Democrats from time to time. As MSNBC's Chris Matthews explained, it was just the voters saying "no" generally, but not to anything in particular.

Except when Republicans win political power, they hold onto it long enough to govern. The Democrats keep being smacked down by the voters immediately after being elected and revealing their heinous agenda.

As a result, for the past four decades, American politics has consisted of Republicans controlling Washington for eight to 14 years -- either from the White House or Capitol Hill -- thus allowing Americans to forget what it was they didn't like about Democrats, whom they then carelessly vote back in. The Democrats immediately remind Americans what they didn't like about Democrats, and their power is revoked at the voters' first possible opportunity.

Obama has cut the remembering-what-we-don't-like-about-Democrats stage of this process down from two to four years to about 10 months. Folks, I'm convinced that if we all work really hard, we can get it down to three months.

Four years of Jimmy Carter gave us two titanic Reagan landslides, peace and prosperity for eight blessed years -- and even a third term for his feckless vice president, George H.W. Bush.

Two years of Bill Clinton gave us a historic Republican sweep of Congress, which killed the entire Clinton agenda (with the exception of partial-birth abortion and felony obstruction of justice) -- and also gave us two terms for George W. Bush.

And now, merely one year of Obama and a Democratic Congress has given us the first Republican senator from Massachusetts in 31 years.

In other recent news, last November, New Jersey voters, who haven't voted for a Republican for president since 1988, threw out their incumbent Democratic governor, Jon Corzine. In Virginia, which Obama carried by 6 points a year earlier, a religious-right Republican won the governor's office by 17 points.

Sen. Ben Nelson, Democrat of Nebraska, won his last election in 2006 by 28 points -- the largest margin for a Democratic Senate candidate in that state in a quarter-century.

Since voting for the Senate health care bill last Christmas, the once-bulletproof Sen. Nelson not only gets booed out of Omaha pizzerias, but he has also seen his job approval rating fall to 42 percent and his disapproval rating soar to 48 percent. (Meanwhile, the junior senator from Nebraska, Mike Johanns, who voted against the bill, has a job approval rating of 63 percent.)

The Democrats have no natural majority because they have no fundamental principles -- at least none that they are willing to state out loud. They are like a drunken vagrant who emerges from the alley to cause havoc every few years. They are the perpetual toothache of American politics.

To be sure, the fact that 52 percent of Massachusetts voters are racist, sexist tea-baggers -- i.e., voted for a Republican -- means only that the Democrats just went from having the largest congressional majority in a generation to the second largest. But this was "Teddy Kennedy's seat." And it was in Massachusetts.

Now, no Democrat is safe.

But the country just got a lot safer.

Absentee Ballot Fraud in Massachusetts? (Caught on Video)

This video seems to be A woman in Lawrence, MA, is carrying around blank absentee ballots in Spanish today. She explains to the bloggers who took the video how she’s telling people to mark Martha Coakley’s name. The woman handing out the ballots identifies herself as “Isabel Melendez” and says she has a talk show in which she promoted Coakley’s candidacy.

If you speak Spanish can you verify this for me?

Krauthammer Reads The Circle Eight

See my previous post.

Has Obama Started To Campaign For The Republicans?

Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day!

Alright. So we know that Obama went to Copenhagen to try to get the Olympic panel to have the Olympics in Chicago. His visit there didn't work out well if you remember.

Obama also went to Virginia to campaign for Creigh Deeds in the Gubanatorial race. He lost by a large margin, 41.25% to 58.61%.

Now he's headed to Massachusetts to help Marcia Martha Coakley with the Senate race there.

I can't help but think that given his record of helping out those who are on his side politically, he's got to know what the outcome will be if he shows up in Massachusetts. So the only reason I can think of for him going is to help out Brown, who is running against Coakley.

If Brown wins, and he will win, he ought to thank the President for campaigning for Coakley in his acceptance speech.

Mika Brezezinski

In a Glenn Beck interview the other day Sarah Palin was asked who her favorite Founding Father was. She replied that they all were.

For some reason the liberal media had a hard time with this answer. Especially Mika Brezezinski who needed "to let this process."

If you listen closely (at about 1:03 into the video) you'll hear Mika Brzezinski, who co-hosts Morning Joe, gives her favorite Founder.

Lincoln!

He wasn't a Founding Father! A great president, but not a Founding Father.

In the past Mika has been supportive of Palin.

Why the change? Maybe she's hoped on the Obama plane. Even though it's in flames and about to hit a mountain.

Coakley's New Ad

Martha Coakley, who is running for Massachussetts' open senate seat, recently released an ad in which she misspelled the state she wants to represent.

It's in the small print at the bottom.

Harry Reid's Negro Problem

Ann Coulter

Ann Coulter's most recent column:

The recently released book Game Change reports that Sen. Harry Reid said America would vote for Barack Obama because he was a "light-skinned" African-American "with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one."

The book also says Bill Clinton called Sen. Ted Kennedy to ask for his endorsement of Hillary over Obama, saying of Obama: "A few years ago, this guy would have been getting us coffee."

And we already knew that Obama's own vice president, Joe Biden, called Obama "articulate" and "clean" during the campaign. (So you can see why Biden got the vice presidential nod over Reid.)

Democrats regularly say things that would end the career of any conservative who said them. And still, blacks give 90 percent of their votes to the Democrats.

Reid apologized to President Obama, and Obama accepted the apology using his "white voice." So now all is forgiven.

Clinton also called Obama to apologize, but ended up asking him to bring everybody some coffee.

Now the only people waiting for an apology are the American people who want an apology from Nevada for giving us Harry Reid.

Reid will be the guest of honor at a luncheon in Las Vegas this week hosted by a group called "African-Americans for Harry Reid." That's if you can call two people a "group."

They used to be called "African-Americans for David Duke," but that was mostly a social thing. Now they're doing real political organizing.

If this gets off the ground, "African-Americans for Harry Reid" will be a political juggernaut that cannot be denied. Their motto: "We Will Be Heard -- As Soon As I Get This Gentleman's Coffee."

Reid has also picked up an endorsement from the United Light-Skinned Negro College Fund. And Tiger Woods is considering endorsing him. He is the one light-skinned half-black guy right now who's
thrilled with Reid's comments.

Reid's defenders don't have much to work with. Their best idea so far is that at least he said "Negro" and not "Nigra."

Liberals are saying that since Reid was pointing out Obama's pale hue in support of his run for the presidency, it was OK to praise his skin color and non-Negro dialect. (Reid is denying reports that in 2007 he said to Obama: "You should run. You people are good at that.")

In fact, Reid didn't endorse Obama until after Hillary dropped out of the race. It turns out, he also admired Hillary for her light skin and the fact that she only uses a Negro dialect when she wants to.

In the alternative, liberals are defending Reid by claiming he said nothing that wasn't true, though he may have used "an unusual set" of words -- as light-skinned Reid-defender Harold Ford Jr. put it.

As long as we're mulling the real meaning of Reid's words and not just gasping in awe at the sorts of things Democrats get away with saying, I think Reid owes America an apology for accusing the entire country of racism. A country, let us note, that just elected a manifestly unqualified, at least partially black man president.

On the other hand, Reid couldn't have been expecting Republicans to vote for a Democrat, so I gather Reid was accusing only Democratic voters of being racists.

I don't disagree with that, but I'd like to get it in writing.

I think the Democratic platform should include a statement that the Democrats will not vote for dark-skinned blacks with a Negro dialect. Check with Harry Reid on the precise wording, but something along the lines of "no one darker than Deepak Chopra."

The "whereas" clauses can include the Democrats' history of supporting slavery, segregation, racial preferences, George Wallace and Bull Connor -- and also a precis of their treatment of dark-skinned Clarence Thomas.

BREAKING NEWS: Hoping to curry favor with the African-American community, Sen. Reid was arrested late this afternoon after breaking into his own home.

Democrats couldn't win an election without the black vote, but the Democratic Party keeps treating blacks like stage props, wheeling them out for photo-ops and marches now and then but almost never putting them in charge of anything important.

President Bush appointed the first black secretary of state and then the first black female secretary of state. Meanwhile, the closest black woman to Bill Clinton was his secretary, Betty Currie.

The one sitting black Supreme Court justice, Clarence Thomas, was appointed by a Republican.

The head of the Republican National Committee is black -- medium-skinned, but liberals treated Michael Steele like a dark-skinned black when they threw Oreo cookies at him during the Maryland gubernatorial campaign in 2002.

After the 2000 election, Democrats had a chance to make one of the rare smart Democrats, Donna Brazile, head of the Democratic National Committee. Brazile had just run a perfectly respectable campaign on behalf of that bumbling buffoon Al Gore.

She also happens to be black. Again, blacks give 90 percent of their votes to the Democrats.

But the Democrats skipped over Brazile and handed the DNC chairmanship to the goofy white guy in lime green pants, Howard Dean.

UPDATE: Harry Reid has just apologized to the light-skinned people of Haiti for the 7.0 earthquake that hit them Tuesday afternoon.

The single most insulting remark made about blacks in my lifetime was Bill Clinton's announcement -- after being caught in the most humiliating sex scandal in world history -- that he was "the first black president."

He did not call himself "the first black president" when liberals were dancing and singing to Fleetwood Mac at his inauguration. He did not call himself "the first black president" when he was feeling our pain and being lionized by the media. He did not call himself "the first black president" when he was trying to socialize health care or passing welfare reform.

Not until he became a national embarrassment did Clinton recognize that he was "the first black president."

At least he could finally get his own coffee.

Obama concedes he hasn't brought country together

Here's the article. I've put the highlights below.

President Barak Obama says he has not succeeded in bringing the country together, acknowledging an atmosphere of divisiveness that has washed away the lofty national feeling surrounding his inauguration a year ago.

I can't believe it took him this long to admit that.

"That's what's been lost this year ... that whole sense of changing how Washington works," Obama said in an interview with People magazine.

And next year and next year until 2012 unless you pull your head out.

Obama said people have "every right to feel deflated, because the economy was far worse than any of us expected." But he insisted that his government's economic steps in 2009 are paying off and that people should have confidence in this new year.

          Doubtful.

The president opted not to lower the grade he had given himself for his own performance in 2009 — a B-plus.

He just got done telling us what a bad job hes been doing as President and how the politics of divisiveness would be a thing of the past but he won't lower the grade he gave himself less than a month ago?!
What's with this guy?

Monday, January 11, 2010

A double standard so thick you can cut it with a knife.

News broke this weekend that a forthcoming book on the 2008 election will report Harry Reid making some incendiary remarks about Barack Obama. Specifically, Harry Reid said Obama has “no Negro dialect, unless he wants to have one.”

Redstate gives us some quotes from prominent senators and politicians about Trent Lott's statements that were condemned as racist:

  • His apology does not take away the sting of his divisive words…‘ - Barbara Boxer
  • I can tell you if a Democratic leader said such a thing, they would not be allowed to keep their position,’ - Mary Landrieu
  • What he said was insensitive as hell; it’s very offensive,’ … ‘Race is serious stuff. It’s not something you kid about.’ - Joe Biden
  • ‘…the GOP must decide whether Lott ‘represents the views of the majority of Republicans in the Senate and in our country.‘ - Hillary Clinton
  • We need political leaders who are healers, not dividers,’ … ‘I hope that Senator Lott’s apology will translate into action and that he will advance policies that bring us together as a nation rather than pull us apart.‘ - Dick Durbin
  • When connected to past comments and votes, this statement casts a dark shadow over Sen. Lott’s ability to be a credible party leader‘ - Diane Feinstein
  • Sen. Debbie Stabenow, a Democrat, described Lott’s comments as ‘outrageous’ and ‘completely inexcusable.’ ‘Those kinds of comments have no place in our society and should be repudiated by every American,’ Stabenow said in a statement. ‘At this point, the Republican caucus in the U.S. Senate needs to think long and hard about the kind of values they want their leadership to represent.‘ - Debbie Stabenow
(and there are many other classics from Senate and House Democrites at “Blogs for Victory“)
Climate cultist Algore and (surprise, surprise ) Jesse Jackson demanded that Lott resign:
But some Democrats were angry. Civil rights activist Jesse Jackson called for Lott to resign, and former Vice President Al Gore told CNN that the comment was “racist.”
Funny, Jesse has been strangely silent the last couple of days.
Then we have the pièce de résistance from POTUS himself"
Illinois Senator Barack Obama (D-13th), who hosted WVON’s Cliff Kelley Show, challenged the Republican Party to repudiate Lott’s remarks and to call for his resignation as senate leader.
“It seems to be that we can forgive a 100-year-old senator for some of the indiscretion of his youth, but, what is more difficult to forgive is the current president of the U.S. Senate (Lott) suggesting we had been better off if we had followed a segregationist path in this country after all of the battles and fights for civil rights and all the work that we still have to do,” said Obama.
He said: “The Republican Party itself has to drive out Trent Lott. If they have to stand for something, they have to stand up and say this is not the person we want representing our party.”
If Democrat hypocrisy was jobs, the Obama economic mess would be over tomorrow.
President Obama, I’m waiting patiently for your demands that Harry Reid resign.  Something tells me that I have a long wait ahead of me.
(UPDATE:  As noted in the comments, this morning RNC Chair Michael Steele called upon Reid to resign.  Methinks the request will be met with :crickets:)

Liberal Hypocrisy

Harry Reid made some comments during the presidential race about Obama's skin color. Now many Republicans are calling for him to step down.
However, there are many Democrats that are forgiving him.
The Congressional Black Caucus' spokeswoman has said this about Reid:

“I have had an opportunity to speak with Senator Reid and he apologized for his unfortunate remarks concerning the President and he understands the gravity of such remarks. There are too many issues like the economy, job creation and energy for these regrettable comments to distract us from the work that must be done on behalf of the American people.
“Over the years, I have had an opportunity to work with Majority Leader Reid. Senator Reid’s record provides a stark contrast to actions of Republicans to block legislation that would benefit poor and minority communities – most recently reflected in Republican opposition to the Health Bill now under consideration. I look forward to Senator Reid continuing to serve as Majority Leader to guide this important agenda through the Senate.
“The Congressional Black Caucus believes that thoughtful engagement and civil discourse on race is needed, as our first “Dialogue on Race” in November 2009 demonstrated. There is a deep unease about race which cannot be swept under the rug. I appreciate Senator Reid’s apology and look forward to our continuing work.
If this were a Republican who had made the same statement, the CBC would be frothing at the mouth.
Obama has also forgiven Reid. I'm not saying they shouldn't forgive, I'm saying that equal treatment needs to be given.
Trent Lott, a Republican, was forced out of his post for things that he said and did that were considered to be racist. Yet Robert Byrd  , a Democrat, still holds office and now we have Reid.

The Left has been one-sided for a while.

Larry Craig, Jack Ryan, Mark Foley, George Allen and Tom Delay were all forved out of office for sex scandals in which no one had sex.

Ted Kennedy killed a girl. There was Clinton and Lewinsky, Sandy Berger who stole classified 9/11 documents and Barney Frank who ran a prostitution ring out of his apartment. Oh yeah, and John Edwards who had an affair and then used campaign money to pay for her living expenses.
None were forced to leave office.

The hypocrisy is staggering.

Here is Ann Coulter letting Rev. Al Sharpton have it:

"We Want Go Back To GITMO!"

Some terrorists who were staying in Guantanamo Bay Cuba have been moved to an Illinois prison are think that the conditions are so bad there that they need to go back to GITMO. Remember GITMO? Where they are "treated like animals?" They didn't like Supermax, they don't like Thomson in Illinois, but they seem to like GITMO just fine.
Some detainees could even get their lawyers to figure out a way to get them back to where the sun shines so they can gain another 15 extra pounds eating their halal meals and watching their DVDs.
The left has rallied around the idea that the detainees are treated sooo badly in Cuba yet the detainees don't think so.
It's gonna be tough for Obama to keep his promise of closing down Guantanamo if even the terrorists are against it have find legal ways back in.

Terrorism Couldn't Tear Him Away From The Slopes

"But the powder was so deep."

The Director of the National Counterterrorism Center was on the slopes when the underwear bomber failed in his attempt. Upon hearing the news, he decided that he would finish up a few more runs before returning home to look into why the Muslim slipped through the cracks.

First of all Michael Leiter should at least apologize (if not resign) for making a bad decision to postpone doing his job which is one of the most important for keeping us safe.

Second, are we ready to start profiling yet?

His name was Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab.
His dad called in to warn about him.
He is Muslim.
He had no luggage.
He paid for his one way ticket in cash.

The last few dozen terrorist attacks on Americans on airplanes have been carried out by men in the 18 - 35 age range, with the same skin color, eye color, hair color, and half were named Muhammad.

Let's throw political correctness out the window and start focusing on the problem. We keep stopping people who clearly are not terrorists in an effort to show that we are politically correct while we steer clear of those who fit the profile of a terrorist.
